April 25, 2012 | Terry Howell

The Annual MilBlog Conference is the premier event of the year for the military blogging community, which includes active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses, military parents and military supporters.

Over the years the MilBlog Conference has featured guest speakers like President George W. Bush, General David Petraeus, Vice Admiral Mark Fox, and Donald Rumsfeld, to name a few. This year marks the MilBlog’s 7th year and will feature Act of Valor Director Scott Waugh as the guest speaker.

This year will also mark the 7th Annual MilBloggie Awards, sponsored by USAA. The Milbloggies recognize military bloggers for their contributions to blogging, news, and information and the military.

The 2012 MilBlog conference will be held at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel in Arlington VA on May 11th and 12th.
