Chicago to Welcome Troops Home

This Satruday, Chicago will  properly welcome home our Iraq War Veterans and show theiir continued support for our troops in Afghanistan at the ‘Chicago Welcomes Home the Heroes Parade. ‘ While this parade is dedicated to our Post-9/11 Veterans, the entire military community and their families are invited and encouraged to participate and be honored. The parade will start at 12:00 PM on Saturday Dec. 15, on Columbus Drive between Balbo Drive and Monroe Street in Grant Park

  1. when an active duty soldier is getting ready to retire ,who pays for his trip home and any fees that are charged by the government country for which hes dployed in charge for his release to retire and return home to his family state side?

  2. when an active duty soldier has been deployed to a foregn country ,who pays for his trip home? and who pays the government of the country hes been deployed in any fees or charges for that soldier to be released for retirement from that country? Why would the soldier have to pay those fees himself ?

  3. My daughter receives a GI Bill due to her dad being a Purple Heart vet will her college education be affected by this?

    hi my name is vicky krueger and im engaged to an none active soldier and they want me to come up with 250 to have his check delivered to me and i dont have the finces to pay for them to deliever his check
