Military.com's Passdown recently featured an article by Vice Admiral Norb Ryan, the President of the Military Officers Association of America. In his article, titled Wounded Need a War on Leadership Complacency,  Ryan shares his insights on what our nation's wounded warriors and their families need -- assertive leaders that will make a real commitment to help wounded warriors and their families heal and reintegrate.

Ryan's article covers the testimony of wounded warriors, family members, and surgeons given during the MOAA/NDIA hosted September 13 Warrior Family Symposium, in which it became clear that the actions taken over the last decade fall far short of the mark.

Ryan writes, "We don’t need more rhetoric and finger-pointing.  We need executive and legislative branch leaders to make eight specific commitments to get care quickly to those in need."
